A Call To Arms

|

For months we have received press releases from players and staff saying how they are going to prove doubters wrong and how the team don’t deserve to be in the position we find ourselves in. Well the talking stops now.

Under new management we have a boss that undoubtedly cares for his hometown club and will do all he can to ensure this group of players give their all for the run in.

We are just two points clear of the drop zone with seven games remaining and if we are to achieve survival then we all need to pull together as one.

The clubs season ticket campaign is based on the motto ‘Stronger Together’ let’s show for the remaining seven games that there aren’t much clubs stronger than ours when we all pull in the same direction!

This season there have been many fractures between the club, players and fans as wide as red sea parting for Moses but for the remaining games let’s all stand side by side and unite as one.

Once the season is over we can start the post-mortem on why the season has been so poor and then we can start to rebuild all the damage caused from the past two years but for now we need to pick up points against Bury, Oldham and Wimbledon.

Stop talking about doing it and lets bloody do it!

Be loud, be proud – come on you reds!
