Dan Agyei followed up his stunning strike against Charlton Athletic two weeks ago, with an equally impressive first half effort on Saturday to open the scoring. This time he wrapped his weaker foot round the ball from 25 yards to beat Craig MacGillivray, and the on-loan forward insists that his hard work on the training ground is bearing fruit.

Speaking to the Express & Star , Agyei said: ‘The goal against Shrewsbury was on my right foot, my weaker foot.

‘But I`ve been working hard in training to be able to score goals with both feet. And the minute I hit it I thought it was going in which is a great feeling.

‘I feel I am learning all the time. I’ve settled in really well here. All the boys have been great with me and given my advice.’

Agyei has certainly impressed since his loan move from Burnley, and Saddlers fans are eager to see him paired with fellow loanee Roberts, on Saturday against Blackpool.
