WYCOMBE: 23-year-old midfielder Sergio Torres has been sent to Lilleshall in order to increase the speed of his recovery from a knee injury. He has been out since September and has been given a break from his regular rehab programme at Adams Park. Torres is set to be fit for the New Year.

TORQUAY: Ex-Villa striker Jamie Ward has declared he is happy in Devonshire, despite Lubos Kubik replacing Ian Atkins as the Seagulls manager. Ward said that he was happy to be at Torquay and wanted to see what the new coach can offer.

MK DONS: Gillingham remain defiant that they will be allowed to play on-loan MK Dons defender Ben Chorley in their FA Cup match with Bristol City this weekend. However, the clubs agreed that the Gills could not field the 24-year-old, as it would cup-tie time.
