Richard Money looks to have gone back to his former club to sign Allen Picken. It is fair to say that he is unknown to many football fans outside of the A league.
The Jets defender made 22 starts for Richard last term playing at left back and central defense so I am lead to understand. He is described by some sources as Newcastle United Jets star find of last season. Richard has nipped in since he was only on a short term contract having broke into the team covering for an injury to another defender.
It was hoped that a defender would have joined us before saturdays game against Stafford. However since nobody appeared and no news has come from official sources, it is possible that work permit issues are yet to be resolved. Fingers crossed that confirmation maybe heard soon.
