Our League 1 trip to Blackburn Rovers which was due to take place this Saturday has been rearranged for Tuesday 30th January 2018 with a 7:45 kick off.
This weekends game was postponed due to international call ups – Donnellan and Kinsella were called up for Republic Of Ireland yesterday.
The Saddlers don’t play another league game until Saturday 18th November where we face Gillingham. With an eleven day break it will give manager Jon Whitney time to try and get consistency from his players which has been missing this season, or it gives the board chance to assess the season so far and to make changes that are being voiced from fans at present.
With the Saddlers not playing this weekend it’s likely we will be closer to the relegation trap door which is not acceptable given Whitney has been handed ‘our biggest ever budget in League 1’
