Bolton Closing In On Signing Of Oztumer

|

Bolton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of former Walsall playmaker Erhun Oztumer according to Bolton News

Oztumer is out of contract with the Saddlers having rejected three contracts on offer by the club since Christmas last year and it looks like he has finally got his move to a Championship side.

Oztumer started his professional career with Dulwich Hamlet before moving into the Football League with Peterborough but moved to the Saddlers in the summer of 2016 after falling out of favour at The Posh.

Oztumer scored fifteen goals for the Saddlers in all competitions last season but has gone on to better that by scoring seventeen in all competitions during this campaign.

Oztumer signed off his Walsall career by scoring the goal which ensured our League 1 safety during our 1-1 draw with Bradford City – it was kind of fate that the man that has carried this team for two seasons would score the goal to clinch our safety.

Wherever he ends up I’m sure he will get the blessing of most Walsall fans for what he has achieved in a very poor side.
