Walsall leading scorer Tom Bradshaw today paid tribute to Walsall boss Dean Smith, confirming he is ‘key’ to our success and Bradshaw admitted Ginger Mourinho has made him the player he is today.
Smith who had been linked with a move to Rotherham last week has steered the Saddlers to their best third tier start in fifteen years.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Bradshaw said
“The philosophy and the way we play is all down to him; every player and staff member has bought into the way he wants us to play.’
“I admire the gaffer. He has done wonders for myself; I came here with a bit-part career and, in a way, he`s made me into the player I am today.’
“His man-management is one of his big strengths and he is great with all the lads on a day-to-day basis.’
Bradshaw will be aiming to make it four home goals on the trot as we welcome Chesterfield on Saturday.
