It has emerged that former Notts Forest defender Ian Breckin is a top target for CH in a bid to strengthen the back four.

The 33-year-old centre-back was released from his former club last month and is available on a free transfer.

Breckin acheieved promotion with Forest after making a £350,000 move from Wigan in 2008.

He was also part of the Wigan side to acheiev promotion to the Premier League, where CH was the assistant manager at the time.

After stories being published as to the difficulty of trying to sign players, but if Breckin agrees a deal with the club, he would be a first major signing of the summer and a possible candidate for skipper next season.
