Candlin joined the Championship side on loan during the summer and it was agreed that if both parties were happy then Mitch Candlin would sign permanently for the Lancashire club during January however Blackburn have decided not to pursue their interest in him.

Candlin is now back training with the Saddlers and will be available for selection as we travel to Gillingham on Saturday.

Candlin has made nine senior appearances for the Saddlers and has also linked up to train with the England youth side. Th18-year-oldld made his professional debut against Bradford in April 2017. Mitch scored his first senior goal during our 2-1 friendly win over Chester City.
