Coventry City Deny Ferrier Interest

|

According to reports Mark Robins has no interest in signing Walsall striker Morgan Ferrier despite the Sky Blues being linked with the striker last week.

Coventry Live are reporting that there is no truth in the links, so it remains to be seen which club had a bid rejected for Ferrier this week.

Ferrier has already shown a desire to leave the club with Darrell Clarke saying he and George Dobson can leave the club should their valuations of the players are matched by interested suitors.

Morgan Ferrier has had a whirlwind first season with the Saddlers.

From having a scufle with fellow defender Luke Leahy on the pitch to scoring a superb goal against Gillingham in August.

The striker also rejected a move to Southend United in January stating his desire to prove his worth to manager Dean Keates who salvaged him from non-league, however following the exit of Dean Keates and our subsequent relegation to League 2, Ferrier now wants to leave the club.

It will be interesting to see if anyone makes another bid for the frontman who was given the number nine shirt earlier this summer.
