Barry Whitehouse will be joined by friend Robert Wright in pulling on their cycling gear for a 127 mile ride from Banks’s Stadium to Wembley.

Barry said ‘We are cycling from Bescot Stadium to Wembley to celebrate our appearance at the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final on 22nd March. We will be cycling 125 miles to Wembley then a celebratory lap of 2 miles upon arrival. Our 127 mile trip will commemorate 127 years since Walsall FC was born.’

‘We have chosen to support Acorns Children’s Hospice as they provide care to local life limited and life threatened children.’

In the last year Acorns Children’s Hospice has provided care and support for over 700 children and more than 1,050 families, including those who are bereaved. It costs £750 per day for each child`s care and Acorns relies on the community to fund over 70% of it’s activities.

We are hoping to raise £1,270 to support the children and families who need support from this amazing organisation.
