Walsall have today announced the signing of Brenford B striker Justin Shaibu on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Shaibu is a Danish Under 20 international but has been restricted to just five starts for the Bees this season since joining from HB Koge in Denmark during the summer of 2016. Shaibu played twenty times for HB Koge but was unable to find the net.

Former Walsall boss Dean Smith has decided to let the youngster go out on loan to gain valuable experience.

Shaibu has scored just once for the Bees, this came during their 4-1 victory against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup this season.

I wonder if this was the player Ian Sharps was scouting when he asked Brenford if their recent B game was streamed live on the internet?

Whilst we wish Shaibu all the best during his loan spell here, scoring just one goal in twenty five appearances does not fill me with confidence. He will add a new dimension to our forward line though and we look forward in seeing him in action.
