Andrew Davies has spoken out on his arrival at the Banks’s Stadium, saying he is relishing the chance to get starts under his belt.

The 25 year old has had a tough time on the bench at Stoke and is eyeing a start against Exeter on Saturday.

e told the official site: ‘It’s been a long, hard time on the sidelines at Stoke, so the chance to get regular action here is something that I am looking forward to.’

Davies looks to be a saviour in our poor form this season and he described himself as an ”old school’, no-nonsense centre back who likes to get stuck in and make his mark.’

He concluded with his visions for the club, adding ”My main objective is to help the team start picking up points and getting results. I will be giving all I’ve got in order to achieve this.’

The addition of Andrew Davies is a decent enough. Though, at this present moment it is a striker that is what the Saddlers really need. Someone who is quick and can create chances out of nothing, with the injury of Byfield compounding this problem. We are just desperate for goals. The Saddlers have let in 8 goals this season and scored 6 and in the starting lineup against Yeovil 3 out of the four on the backline are new this season. This makes it seem as though Hutchings is just panicking, desperately trying to band aid an already bleeding wound.
