Derry City defender Patrick McClean has today announced on his Facebook page that he is joining Walsall on trial.
McLean brother of West Bromwich Albion midfielder James McClean saw a move to Bristol City collapse during the summer and hes hoping to impress Jon Whitney.
McClean is a nineteen year old defender who predominantly plays as a centre back.
