Dickie Dosh Set To Return To Management

|

According to reports former Walsall boss Dickie Dosh is set to return to management with Hartlepool United.

Richard Money won the League 2 title with the Saddlers, clinching it ahead of Hartlepool in 2007 with a last minute goal by now Walsall boss Dean Keates.

Money steered us into the top ten in League 1 the season after, however when he knew the play-offs were not reachable and the fact his best two players were sold on transfer deadline day he decided to resign and later took up position at Newcastle Academy.

Following a short stint at Newcastle he returned to management with his former club Luton Town. The Hatters finished second in his first season but lost in the play off finals to York City. He was sacked the following season after a poor start.

Since leaving the Saddlers, Money has struggled to achieve the success like he did with the Saddlers. Probably his most successful stint away from Walsall came at Cambridge United where he led them to FA Trophy success before winning the Conference Play-Offs.

Since leaving Cambridge, Money has held various youth team roles at Atlanta and Norwich City.

He did return to management with Solihull Moors however he lasted in the job just twenty six days before resigning

Everyone at Vital Walsall wishes Dickie Dosh the best of luck at Hartlepool, I just hope he remembers to wave!
