Downing Misses Out On Award

Walsall defender Paul Downing has missed out of the SkyBet Player Of The Month award for December.

Downing was one of four nominations following his impressive spell during December however the smaller clubs were overlooked once again as it was given to Brentford’s Sam Saunders.

Brentford manager Mark Warburton also picked up SkyBet Manager Of The Month award.
