Ex Wolves Players On Trial With Walsall

|

Eagle eyes have recognised two former Wolves players training with the Saddlers today as Darrell Clarke continues to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.

The two players identified are goalkeeper Jonathan Flatt and striker Liam McAlinden.

Flatt began his career with Wolves in 2010 and spent time on loan at Wrexham, Chesterfield and Cheltenham before signing permanently for Scunthorpe last summer. He was released at the end of the last campaign.

McAlinden started his career again with Wolves and spent time on loan at Shrewsbury, Fleetwood and Crawley before  joining Exeter permanently in 2016. He later joined Cheltenham before joining Kidderminster on loan.

Liam McAlinden has scored nineteen goals in ninety-one games during his career.

Darrell Clarke has already signed James Clarke, Stuart Sinclair, James Hardy and Elijah Adebayo following the release of twelve players during the summer.

The Saddlers start our pre-season campaign a week on Saturday as we travel to Alfreton Town.
