FA Cup First Round Draw This Monday

|

The greatest club competition really gets going this week as the draw for the first round proper will be made this coming Monday.

The non league sides left in the competition play the last round of games this weekend with some hoping to make the first round for the very first time.

We have not had an enjoyable stint in the FA Cup in recent years following the defeats to Newport and Macclesfield Town however Dean Keates will have fond memories of cup ties as a player with Walsall and will be looking for his side to hopefully get to the Third Round and face one of the big boys.

The first round draw will be screened live on BBC Two at 7pm and will be hosted by Mark Chapman in a programme that will last 30 minutes.

Games for the first round proper have been scheduled for the weekend of November 10.

The BBC, who own the main rights for the competition along with BT Sport, will then decide which games they will screen live.

Following Saturday’s fourth qualifying round the ball numbers will be released and we will bring them as soon as we can.

How much are we betting on a Wrexham v Walsall tie?
