Fans favourite Joe Edwards has today given an update on his progress following his ACL injury.
Edwards limped off during our game with Blackburn Rovers in February and was ruled out for the rest of the season following an injury to his anterior cruciate knee ligament. Edwards was feared to be out for six to eight months but has already started walking according to his Twitter account.

Edwards is already the firm favourite to scoop the player of the year award despite him missing the final third of the season, the absence of vice captain Edwards has also had a devestating effect on the pitch with the Saddlers winning just two games out of the ten Joe has missed (losing six).
