Former Walsall winger Febian Brandy has had his contract terminated by mutual consent at Sheffield United – potenitally paving way for a move back to the Saddlers.

Brandy joined United from Walsall 12 months ago after rejecting the opportunity to sign a new contract with their League One rivals leaving a bitter taste with all Walsall fans.

However, after collecting his second red card of the campaign soon after Clough took charge in October, the 25-year-old subsequently returned to the Midlands where he made 20 appearances towards the end of last season

During his first stint with Walsall. Brandy scored 7 goals in 34 appearances. During his loan spell, Brandy scored 4 goals in 20 games but during his second spell we saw a more determined and hard working Brandy and everyone at Vital Walsall hopes that Febian sees his future with the Saddlers.
