Walsall head coach Michael Flynn dedicated yesterdays 2-0 victory against Gillingham to the fans following twelve games without a win.
The fans have been frustrated over the past three months knowing the team could do much better having dropped to 14th in League 2.
Flynn said
“That win today is for the fans”
“Today I thought they were excellent and that’s not just because we won, they were excellent when the game was at 0-0. They got behind us and I really appreciate their support”
The Saddlers are now 13th in League 2, just six more points and they will have equalled last seasons tally.
