Walsall head coach Michael Flynn has said that Peter Clarke’s recent loan move to Oldham Athletic was for non footballing reasons and he felt the club did what they could to help him.

Speaking after our 0-0 draw with Carlisle, Flynn said

“There’s reasons for now that we will keep in house. No fall outs, so don’t start the rumour mill. There’s just one or two things bigger than football that he needs to concentrate on so we’ve done what we can”
