LAST CHANCE TO VOTE IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE AWARDS

-Fans encouraged to have their say on The Football League`s best player-

Fans are being urged to have their say on which Football League players should make FourFourTwo`s prestigious Top 50 list which will be announced at The Football League Awards.

Voting closes on Wednesday 7th February, and fans wishing to vote for the players they believe should be in the Top 50 should visit www.fourfourtwo.com. The votes will be counted and a shortlist drawn up for an expert panel to judge.

The Football League Awards will take place at London`s Grosvenor House on Sunday 4th March 2007 and will once again recognise footballing excellence on and off the field, with clubs and players honoured alongside fans. There will be 18 award categories in total, including a range of football awards and industry specific honours.

Everybody who votes on the website will be entered into a draw to win tickets to The Football League Awards, to see the FourFourTwo Top 50 Football League players announced at the ceremony in March.

Commenting on the importance of the fan`s votes, Stewart Thomson, Commercial Director of The Football League, said: “We are urging fans to get even more involved in the Awards this year. We want to hear from as many supporters as possible about who they believe should receive these honours, and we encourage all fans to cast their votes before the deadline for nominations.”

Editor of FourFourTwo magazine, Hugh Sleight said: “This is a unique opportunity for fans to tell us who they think should make it into The Top 50 Football League players. We`ve had a fantastic response so far, but we want to hear from even more supporters out there to make sure that these awards truly reflect the views of those who watch these players week in, week out.”
