Afghan born midfielder Shabir Isoufi was named amongst the Walsall substitutes this evening (Tuesday) against Nottingham Forest.
Despite being born in Afghanistan, Isoufi is eligible to play for Holland and has represented them at Under 17 and Under 19 level. The 21 year old, Feyenoord midfielder has been on loan to Dordrecht and most recently Telestar.
Also on trial this evening is Blackburn goalkeeper Sebastian Usai.
The 23 year old, Australian has not played for Blackburn but was named a substitute against Chelsea last year. Usai was signed from North Queensland Fury when the club became defunct.
At time of writing Usai came on at half time to play the remaining 45 minutes for the Saddlers.
