Former Keeper Having Middlesbrough Medical

Former Walsall goalkeeper Liam Roberts is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a two year deal with Championship side Middlesbrough.

Roberts made the League 2 team of the year with Northampton last season after his move from Walsall.

Roberts made one hundred and forty-nine appearances for the Saddlers in a nine year spell which saw him leave on loan eight times and released.

Roberts kept twenty one clean sheets and won the Player of the Season and Player’s Player of the Season awards with the Cobblers last term.
