Former Player Set For Scottish Move

|

Former Walsall striker Simeon Jackson is set to join Scottish Premier League side St Mirren in the coming days after impressing during a behind closed doors friendly.

Jackson who has been without a club since leaving the Saddlers in the summer scored a hat-trick for The Buddies this week.

The Buddies won promotion to the Premiership last season but currently find themselves in the bottom two and struggling for goals.

Jackson signed for the Saddlers in 2016 but suffered an inconsistent spell with the Saddlers only starting twenty-five games, with twenty-one being as a substitute – scoring seven goals….he was flagged offside far more than that!

Jackson’s career has stalled since his glory days at Norwich and will be hoping a move north of the border will ignite his career.

Jackson has represented Canada over fifty times, scoring nine goals.

Everyone at Vital Walsall wishes Simeon the best of luck on his move.
