Metropolitan Police defender Jeremy Arthur, who started his career at QPR, has been on trial at Walsall this week and helped the club’s development side to a goalless draw with Bradford City.
The 19-year-old was released by QPR at the end of last season and has since been playing in the Isthmian League Premier Division with Molesey-based club Metropolitan Police.
Since his move to Metropolitan Police, Arthur has been scouted by many league clubs and it seems the Saddlers are now taking a close look at the young defender.
Arthur will be back playing for Metropolitan Police this weekend.
