Former Striker Heading For Millwall Loan Move With £1m Permanent Deal Lined Up

|

Former Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw is set for a loan move from Barnsley to Championship side Millwall, with a view to a permanent deal in January – thought to be around £1m.

Millwall have been chasing the Welsh international all summer and look set to get their man with the deal set to be confirmed later today.

Bradshaw was pivotal to our promotion campaign a few seasons ago scoring forty goals in eighty appearances for the Saddlers.

Following our play off semi final defeat to Barnsley, Bradshaw demanded to leave the Saddlers and his transfer request was accepted by the club. That said club which beat us in the play off semi final won the race for his signature and signed him for around £650,000. During the negotiation process, then Barnsley CEO Linton Brown brandished Walsall “A Strange Club” for wanting to keep the transfer fee disclosed.

We understand that Walsall have a sell on clause for Tom Bradshaw and will receive a decent return if he completes his permanent £1m to Millwall in the January transfer window.
