Former Walsall striker Troy Deeney is now as little as 8/13 to join our near neighbours West Bromwich Albion.
Watford are reluctant to let Deeney leave for anything less than £20m which would give the Saddlers a windfall of around £4m should the deal go ahead.
The odds on Deeney leaving Watford during the summer were the same as now and it remains to be seen whether WBA are interested in him.
Deeney scored twenty seven goals during his career with the Saddlers and moved to Watford in 2010 and has gone on to score over one hundred goals in two hundred appearances.
We will continue to monitor the story which could have a massive impact on the short and long term future of Walsall FC.
