Walsall head coach Sean O’Driscoll has today confirmed that the club have started discussions with Man City over George Evans.
Evans has been instrumental to our upturn in form in the past few months, scoring some vital goals and head coach O’Driscoll says if he was Evans he would stay here but conceded it is down to agent power once more.
O’Driscoll said ”In terms of Evans, I have spoken to Man City. George is enjoying his football, but he’s out of contract at Man City at the end of the season and that situation needs to be settled.’
“If it was up to George I think he would stay here, but there are agents. His loan is up on January 9, so it`s something we need to look at.’
‘A decision has to be made because it would be unfair on us as a club to leave it until the last minute and George. too. needs to know where he stands.”
