One of my least favorite away trips since the journey can bea pig. Results there never seem to be much good either except in The August when Sir Rays team made there bow. However I must admit since chairman Paul Scally took over Priestfield Stadium has been virtually re-built . On one side of the ground is the impressive two tiered, Medway Stand, opened in 2000, with a row of executive boxes with outside seats..posh eh running across the middle. Opposite is the all seater Gordon Road Stand. it contains a number of supporting pillars, which gills fans can hide behind. The Rainham End, has also been re-developed, with a single tier cantilevered stand, which replaced a former terrace.
Away fans are housed in part of the Brian Moore Stand where around 1,500 supporters can be accommodated. Like last season the stand is of the temporary variety mor suited to the Belfry. Unlike Blackpools temporary stands the facilities are surprisingly good, not being of the fair ground variety However it is uncovered so be prepared to get wet!

Also to get to the away end there are narrow alleys and terrace roads to over come the policing seems to ensure that there is no trouble.

Those with long memories may remember Mr Paul (sun tan man)Taylor getting sacked and trying to run over the local press..the beauty of narrow streets eh!!!
