18 year old Will Grigg has signed a new one year deal at Walsall.
The youngster has impressed boss Chris Hutchings wiith a flurry of good performances in reserves last season, which earned him a place on the bench for the first team during the latter part of last season.
Speaking to the official website, Grigg said: ‘I can’t wait to get stuck into training, get a few pre-season games under my belt and look to establish myself..I’m not putting pressure on myself by setting targets, I just want to work my way into the team.’
He added: ‘My favourite position is just off the strikers where I can get in behind and make things happen. It’s an important season ahead for me and I intend to take my chance and make the most of it.’
The rising star has also been boosted by his involvement with Northern Ireland at under 19 level.
