From the outside looking in, what a mess. Pre season changes ended in a transfer embargo as they over spent. Manager Mark Wright lets players go because they are not suited to the current style of play, then changes how they play so they would have fitted in. Chairman expects more fans through the turnstiles whilst stay away fans wait for signs of improvement.

On the pitch things are as equally mixed up. Away wins at the likes of Peterborough and Lincoln are mixed in with defeats at home to Macclesfield 0-3. Nobody knows what team is going to turn up.

As for cup competitions not many teams can lose and still make the third round, but rules are rules.

I predicted a mid table finish with brief hopes of keeping in touch with the play offs, and with a bit more consistency that is exactly what is on the cards.
