Mansfield Town
The managerial merry go round is still turning at Field mill, after Carlton Palmers antics last term his replacement Peter Shirtliff has left to be replaced by Mr Dearden (again). Stability is something of an unknown at Field Mill. Rumours about the true agenda in the boardroom still remain in some sections.
On the pitch it is true that results have not matched what the squad should be capable of. However flashes of promise from the likes of Richie Barker Matt, Hamshaw and Michael Boulding have not brought consistency. A series of defeats has left the Stags in the lower reaches of the league looking over there shoulders.
Last seasons finish on 54 points was actually quiet a turnaround and I predicted better
“Prediction- better than last season but still stuck in mid table, Michael Boulding at 30 having retired and Matty Hamshaw (if he was that good why did Stockport let him go) may not be the stars Stag fans hoped for.”

I will stick by that assessment. Although change isn`t always for the good.
