Harrogate right back Ryan Fallowfield is heavily linked with a move to the Saddlers with his contract up this summer.
Fallowfield began his career with Hull City before joining Harrogate on loan in 2014, he then made his move permanent in 2015 before leaving to join North Ferriby and returning back to Harrogate in 2017.
He has featured 120 times for Harrogate in the past four years winning the FA Trophy and promotion to the Football League.
Harrogate boss Simon Weaver had this to say on Fallowfield exit
“He’s been a massive part of our journey and we can’t thank him enough for the role he has played in two promotions, but we can’t keep everybody for 10 years. Sometimes players need freshening up, and sometimes a club does too.”
