Tonight we take another team to Hednesford to play the pitmen. In this annual pre season friendly a number of fringe players and a sprinkling of trialists may well get a run out.

Vital Quotes:

Richard Money or Dickie Dosh whichever you perfer seems quite happy with the way things are progressing in pre season. Fitness levels are building and we are looking well organised and as he puts it a hard to beat team. This will help the general building.

Hednesford Team News:

Hednesford have been signing players for fun since there relegation in May. The team that will play tonight will bear no relation to the one faced last year. However they gave Wolves a run for there money a week ago and while both teams have moved on I expect depending on the strenght of the teams that they will give us a stern test.

Player to watch: Who knows

It will be one of there new signings though!!!

Walsall Team News:

Walsall will probably give reserve Keeper Rene Gilmartin a run out tonight, as well as centre half Scott Dann. If Tony Bedeau has recovered from the ankle knock that kept him out of the Man Utd game He is expected to partner James Constable up front although a new trialist Francino Francis may also feature as may Adam Proudlock.
In midfield some of our young pretenders may well be marshalled by Dean Keates who hopes for another appearance following last nights sub turn out against Man Utd in an effort to catch up on lost time due to injury.

Player to watch: James Constable

Hat Trick hero against Halesowen, looked out of touch against WBA, If James is serious about challenging for a first team shirt this season he needs to start building consistancy into his performances. He should be a constant threat to the home defence if he wants to push his claim and play some part against Villa on Friday.
