‘His legs turn to jelly in front of goal’ – Inside View CTSA

|

This week I spoke with @CTSA (Crawley Town Supporters Alliance) about all things Crawley. Here is what they had to say.

Hows your season been so far?

Disappointing on the league front. After a good start we have dropped down the table.
Our highlight was our run in the Carabao Cup beating Premier League opposition for the first time in our history.

Best player?

Glenn Morris is one of the best keepers in the league. Reece Grego Cox (when back fit) is one to watch out for.

Pantomime Villian?

Panutche Camara. A bundle of energy and enthusiasm but his legs turn to jelly in front of goal.

Favourite ever player?

Dannie Bulman. 41 years old next week and still competing with the best League 2 has to offer.

We have played twice this season, each team winning one game 3-2, with one point separating us, could we be any more even?

We’ll be more than happy with a repeat of our 3-2 victory here from August this time out.

Last season you were keeping a small eye on the bottom two, what has changed this season to see you comfortably mid-table?

We have a better squad than last season but have underperformed this term. This squad should be fighting for a play off spot.

Predictions for the weekend?

1-1. We have only lost 1 game under the new gaffer and a point would be a good result.

Finally, one random fact about your club?

We hold the record for the most amount of points won in a Conference National season after we lifted the title in 2011.

Thanks to CTSA for those answers, we wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.
