Former Blues midfielder Bryan Hughes has been linked with a move to the Banks’s, after he was released from Premiership Hull City.

The 33-year-old has reportedly earning £15,000 per week with the Tigers, which would provide a huge stubbling block. He has allegedly already been approached by Hutch and demanded at leat £3-4,000 per week.

Speaking to the Express and Star, Hutch said: “You want experience in midfield, someone who is a talker, an organiser but can also play – but they cost the money. It`s the same as everyone, if you want a good creative player you need to pay money for them.”

Middlesbrough are rumoured to be first in line for Hughes, but could a return to the Midlands tempt him? No.

Hutch is also on the lookout for ‘Premiership and Championship’ players to bring in on-loan. It maybe worth pointing out that he could probably get better players on-loan in League’s One and Two, as they will have more experience and know-how of the league and you can get good deals.

Do your homework…Andy Robinson on-loan from Leeds? Hutch is starting to remind me of a landlord – will only fix things when needed! Frustrating.
