Chris Hutchings will tell the out of contract players their future as a Saddler in a post season meeting on Monday.

Of the starting eleven in last weeks away game to Carlisle just four players, Richards, McDonald, Jones and Byfield, have contracts expanding into next season.

Taundry, Vincent, Gray and Deeney will all be sweating it as the manager has to balance a tight budget. He also has to decide on whether those kept on will be offered a one or two year deal.

Hutchings said, talking to the Express and Star: ‘There will be some only offered one and I have to sit down with the chairman and decide whether they are worth two or one.’

The players will then have four weeks to reply to any contract offer they are given.

It will make it an exciting way to end the season, as many fans feel disappointed with how the season has panned out. So who do you want at the Banks’s next season, and for how long? Discuss in the forum!
