Having just returned from a 14 month lay off with a career threatening leg break, Darren was forced off after 45 minutes in saturdays win at Hereford. Reports at the time suggested a hamstring problem. Todays Express and star is reporting a lay off of several weeks.

‘Walsall midfielder Darren Wrack was today facing another spell on the sidelines after pulling his hamstring in Saturday`s victory at Hereford.

Wrack, who only returned to action last month after more than a year out with a broken leg, is facing another frustrating spell on the treatment table after limping off in the dying moments of the first half at the weekend.

The extent of the damage was set to be assessed today, but he is already resigned to being out of action for several weeks’
