It Ain’t Half Hot Mum – Morris Apologises For Mothers Outburst

|

Walsall boss Dean Keates has this morning confirmed that Kieron Morris has apologised to him for his mother’s outburst on Facebook on Saturday night and admitted the case is now closed.

Keates also confirmed that Morris will train with the squad as normal this morning and the situation is resolved – however he conceded Morris will get stick from his team mates.

Speaking to Keates said

“I spoke to Kieron on Saturday night about what his mum said and he apologised straight away,”

“I’m sure everyone can imagine the stick he has had from the other players.

“But it’s all forgotten now and he’ll train today as normal.”

Following the full time whistle on Saturday, Kieron’s mother took to Facebook to voice her anger over the treatment of her son by current boss Dean Keates.

She feels that Keates has not given her son a chance despite him playing well for him whilst he was at Wrexham. She said that Morris was told he was free to leave the club however Morris who has been at the club since he was a youth team player, decided to stay and fight for his place in the team.

She feels that Walsall boss Keates is the reason her son has lost his confidence and in turn affected his performances for the Saddlers.

Morris has appeared twenty four times for the Saddlers this season – with most coming from the substitutes bench.

Morris is out of contract this summer and it would appear from his mothers comments he may not get a new deal under current boss Dean Keates.

Lets be honest it ain’t a great situation and you have to feel sorry for Kieron…had my mother had a rant about my employers I’d probably not speak to her again – there’s just some things mothers should not get involved in!
