Saddlers have made their way down to Somerset and are resting nicely at their hotel, ahead of a crunch match against Yeovil Town tomorrow.

The Saddlers suffered a disappointing defeat at home to Leyton Orient on Tuesday and a repeat result tomorrow could severely dent their survival chances.

Just three points separate the bottom five teams as Walsall sit 21st with 35 points, equal points to 20th placed Dagenham and Redbridge.

Saddlers boss Dean Smith as warned ahead of the game that the team should not be distracted by other results. He told the Express and Star: ‘Not at all, we never have done (relied on other results going their way.) Right from the start I spoke to the lads and told them that. I believe in the players I`ve got here and they believe in the game plan we`ve adopted.’

The Glovers are likely to be without Paul Wotton, Paul Huntingdon and goalkeeper Stephen Henderson. Aaron Lescott continues to sit out for the Saddlers as he struggles with a medial knee ligament injury.

Saddlers should be unchanged from Tuesday, though the return of Darren Byfield to the starting lineup is imminent.

Score: Saddlers are well capable of a 2-0 win, but i’m going for a 2-1 win.

Up The Saddlers!
