Saddlers hitman Jabo Ibehre has stated that he would like to remain at Walsall next season.
The 26-year-old ex-Leyton Orient striker was drafted in by former manager Jimmy Mullen and is hoping that he has made enough of an impact to earn a new deal for the new season.
Jabo told BBC Sport: ‘Obviously you want to do the best you can and see what happens – it’d be nice to get another contract here and progress.’
Ibehre has scored 11 goals in all competitions and has put in a host of solid performances, but it remains to be seen whether Bonser’s budget will allow him to stay.
