The future of Jabo Ibehre will be decided tomorrow, with the striker signing for League One rivals MK Dons.
According to the Express and Star, Jabo will reject a new contract offer and sign for Roberto Di Matteo’s side.
After Jimmy Mullen captured the striker last summer on a one-year deal, Jabo has had a mixed time at the Saddlers, with his best form coming under current manager CH.
The 26-year-old scored a belter against the MK Dons towards the end of the season, which was obviously enough to persuade DI Matteo to offer the former Orient man a contract.
It will be a major blow to our chances for next season, with Alex Nicholls and Troy Deeney the only senior strikers at the club.
With five out of seven out-of-contract stars signed up, including Clayton Ince, it means that Sofienne Zaaboub is the only player left to decide.
Hutch set a deadline as today (Tuesday, June 9th) so it remains to be seen if these breaking stories are true.
