Walsall midfielder Joe Edwards has today taken to Twitter to thank the club, the staff and the fans for their support during his time here.
Would just like to wish @WFCOfficial the very best for the future! I’ve had highs & lows over my 3 years but would just like to thank everyone who supported me throughout my time especially during my injury most notably the fans and my teammates! Time for a fresh start ❤️⚽️

Edwards joined the Saddlers in 2016 following his release from Colchester United Following the U’s relegation To League 2.
Edwards played over one hundred games for the Saddlers scoring eleven goals.
He suffered a ACL injury in February 2018 but defied doctors to return to the Saddlers XI in December 2018.
We would like to thank Joe for his services to the club and wish him the best of luck for the future.
