Key duo could return quicker than expected

Important duo James Walker and Jon Macken have today handed The Saddlers a boost to their relegation survival hopes.

The pair who were both replaced due to injury against Notts County last week, have been touted for a quicker than anticipated return.

The pair will definitely miss this weekends clash with Colchester, but are believed to be close to ready for the crunch survival tie against Wycombe Wanderers on the Saturday the 18th.

“Sometimes these injuries could be up to four to six weeks so it`s really good’ Dean Smith told the Express and Star.
