On loan left back Scott Laird has today confirmed he wants to stay at Walsall when his loan deal expires.
Lairds loan deal expires on January 2nd and hopes that both parent club Scunthorpe and Walsall can sort out a deal.

‘Most defiantly I would like to stay,’ the defender said.
‘My last game is on January 2 so I have got two more’
Laird then continued that he loves the fans and the club.
‘For me, I want to play football. I`m loving my time here. I`m scoring goals. I love the fans and club. Hopefully we can get something sorted out.’
Laird has become a fans favourite since joining the club, scoring three goals in twenty games.
