Walsall have today confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Chelsea to extend Slovakia Under 21 star Milan Lalkovic’s deal until the end of the current campaign.
Lalkovic has scored four goals this season and has been a key member of our side that has moved the Saddlers to just one point outside the play-off positions.
Lalkovic had indifferent form between September and November but during the Christmas period we have seen a more positive and influential player.
Lalkovic expressed his delight to have extended his deal ; “I have said many times that I wanted to stay here,” he said. “Being here has really benefitted me and I feel that I can keep improving under the Gaffer and (assistant boss) Richard O`Kelly’
