Walsall winger Milan Lalkovic has today praised Walsall boss Dean Smith and admits he means everything to him – ahead of tomorrow nights game against his former side Chelsea.
The Slovakian is no stranger to Chelsea having spent his youth days at Stamford Bridge but although Jose Mourinho is dubbed the ‘Special One’ – there’s only one special manager for Lalkovic.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Lalkovic said ‘”He (Smith) knows how to work with me and how to get the best out of me,” said Lalkovic.
“I can`t compare the two (Mourinho and Smith) because I never really worked under Jose. But this guy (Smith) means a lot to me.’
“He wants to help me reach my potential.”
