This week, HARTLEPOOL boss Danny Wilson has won the manager of the month award for March. The former Sheffield Wednesday manager took the award for the third time this season, after he steered his side to a 23 match unbeaten run, winning three and drawing two of the last five games in March.
Stephen Vaughan has left his post as chairman of Widnes Vikings to concentrate his majority shareholding at CHESTER CITY, where he is also currently the chairman. He commented that it was in the best interests of the club to have made this decision.
MK Dons striker Aaron Wilbraham is set to miss the rest of the season in order to undergo ankle surgery. The 27-year-old former Hull City player has been out since the middle of last month, and his manager Martin Allen tried to postpone the operation until after their run-in.
MANSFIELD boss Billy Dearden has said that he hoped his future could be sorted this week in order to begin contract talks with his squad. He returned to Field Mill for the second time back in December and his current deal runs to the end of this season.
